Unique Spots for an LA Elopement

Los Angeles is a pretty awesome spot to get married, filled with incredible food, art, culture, and sunny skies. Here are some of the coolest places to elope in LA. Scroll all the way to the end of the post for an interactive map of all the best spots!

#1 The Unique Space in downtown LA is a cute and colorful spot with rooftop access and killer views. They have a special elopement package for couples who want to rent the space.

#2 Petite Ermitage is a boutique hotel located in West Hollywood. You can sleep here, get ready here, wed here, and then drink and dine at the end of it all.

#3 Griffith Park Observatory in the early morning hours to avoid the crowds, like this couple did.

#4 El Matador Beach is one of the prettiest along PCH in Malibu. You may not necessarily have a lot of privacy here, but man is it beautiful.

#5 A downtown LA rooftop. This is such an affordable option! We’d have the whole rooftop to ourselves.

#6 While researching the most unique places in LA to have an elopement, I came across a website called Peerspace. I think this is a jackpot idea for renting a beautiful space, where you will have privacy and get some amazingly unique photos. I made a board of my favorites here.

#7 Penthouse Suite

This Sunset Blvd. hotel was built in 1929 and has some serious art deco vibes. The penthouse on the top floor has a wrap around balcony and seriously some of the best city views you can get in Los Angeles.

A boutique Hollywood-style hotel

There are various potential nooks and crannies at this hotel, with my favorite being the moody lounge on the second floor by the fireplace. A note from their website: "Built in 1924 and once owned by John Wayne, our six story architectural beauty still stands proudly in the center of Downtown Culver City ~ one of Los Angeles’ most talked about walking neighborhoods.”

#9 Royal Suite

The Beverly Wilshire is no doubt a fancy pants hotel. The lobby is overflowing with fresh flower arrangements, the restaurant in the lobby is divinely delicious, and then there is the royal suite. Get married in front of the fireplace, surrounded by windows and views of Rodeo Drive.

I came across a site called Splacer, which is similar to Peerspace

They also have a unique selection of places to rent, but this modern loft caught my eye. A note from their listing: “Through a private alley entrance, you enter the west-wing of an early 20th century manufacturing building. You will find yourself in a large open loft – which we recently architecturally restored after 2 years of careful renovation."
