Nisa and Simon were married at the San Francisco City Hall the day before Thanksgiving.
I took the train up the coastline, and although it was a long journey, I enjoyed the scenery, the adventure of it all, and watching movies on my laptop while sipping train coffee.
City Hall is a MAGNIFICENT building. I’ve always been a fan of impressive architecture, especially in Europe, and being in this place was like being transported to another world. It’s no wonder that so many couples choose to be wed here. It is a romantic and breathtaking venue.
This was my first time meeting the lovely couple. I corresponded with Nisa through a series of emails and phone calls, and she was just as warm and friendly in person as I imagined she would be. In fact, the whole group made my overnight trip to San Fran that much more enjoyable.
After the ceremony took place under the dome, we ventured up the top floor of the building where the afternoon light flooded in and reflected off the marble walls. Every corner of this place is magic. Finally it was off to Chez Maman, a quaint restaurant on the corner of Gough Street that had been rented out for their small party of 12, for drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
Congratulations, Nisa and Simon. Sending you lots of love and light!
