A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of documenting an intimate wedding ceremony of 32 guests in Montecito.
It was an outdoor evening ceremony, and the girls got ready in an upstairs corner room with plenty of light pouring in. The Babcock house is filled with cozy nooks and crannies and antique furniture finds. The wedding accent color was a lovely shade of green, and the bride had the dresses and sashes made in China. I think this is also the first bouquet I have ever seen with birds of paradise flowers mixed in!
What I love about intimate affairs such as these is that everyone feels so at ease. There isn’t that stress that can sometimes come with a large wedding. This couple was so gloriously relaxed and easygoing. The bride Christy even giggled as she said that she forgot her veil, and that her voluminous hair-do actually looks better without it.
Congrats you two!
